haha. Nice! And, "ouch," that hits a little too close to home regarding how we as the Church can really do a bad job sometimes of presenting ourselves, and Christ.

Personally, I still cringe when the pastor asks us to get up, pivot around and shake some hands. It is like, "Hi, my name is ____. I don't know you, but I was told to shake your hand. Nice grip!" It doesn't feel 100% real to me, at least not like I would want to be greeted as a visitor. (But, come to think of it, I'm not sure how I'd want to be greeted either?)

I know your heart beats for displaying an authentic and welcoming church atmosphere, so what are your thoughts on making that first few seconds when someone enters the church building somewhat more engaging and welcoming?
